By 1955 Mr Gastón Arancibia and Mrs Rebeca Garcés started building the place which will be their home for more than thirty years. Being settled on the road between Valparaíso and Santiago, which was one of the most important commercial roads; the place turned into a high architectonic valuable house taking part of the Casablanca heritage.
In 1988 the Donoso Vasquez family bought the property according to Mrs Rebeca Garcés will, so that, a restoration process began in the whole place, gardens and rooms. By 2001, Los Alamos tourist destination is established. Finally, by the end of 2006, the new family project starts taking place; Macerado restaurant.
